Daniel

In 2021 Jane asked me to be her golf caddie for the Madison Woman’s City Tournament. I, who now currently only has a tenuous grasp of how to actually play golf, said to myself, I just really want this girl to like me… I remember telling her that I wouldn’t be able to provide any constructive support about the greens, slopes, shots, and holes. I just so wanted to impress her! So I made it a goal to find any way I could to be helpful to her. It was on that day I really learned her a lot about Jane’s approach to problem solving, competitive attitude, graceful nature and grit for adversity. It was that day I was very sure, this was the person I could see me taking on the rest of the world with.

I signed up for a spring triathlon in the summer of 2023. After training all spring, and finding out I don’t thrive in water, the triathlon day came in Pardeville, WI. Understandably nervous day of, Daniel was there every step of the for me before, during and after. I’ll never forget sprinting towards the finish line and Daniel on the sidelines, cheering like a mad man for me and filming me finish. This is one of many memories with Daniel where he has supported my ideas, passions, and only makes it easier crossing every finish line with him by my side.
